Our GRP stair nosings provide a durable, highly effective solution for improving stair safety in both new-build and retrofit environments. Manufactured from fibreglass with a hard-wearing anti-slip grit finish, they are designed to clearly highlight the leading edge of steps, helping to reduce the risk of slips, trips and falls in public, commercial and industrial settings.

GRP stair nosings are suitable for most stair edge types, including concrete, metal, timber and carpeted stairs, making them ideal for upgrading steps that have become hazardous over time. They are quick and easy to install using a simple glue and screw fixing method, allowing stairs to be used immediately after fitting.

Profile Sizes

Two profile options are available to suit different requirements:

• 55mm x 55mm – suitable for Building Regulations compliance

• 70mm x 30mm – ideal for retrofit applications

All profiles feature a chamfered back edge for a neat and secure fit.

Grit Finish Options

• Coarse grit – designed for external steps and high-traffic areas, offering one of the hardest-wearing slip-resistant surfaces available

• Fine grit – recommended for internal steps where comfort underfoot is preferred
