This GRP step over platform with handrail provides a safe, durable and corrosion-resistant solution for bridging over low-lying services in industrial and commercial environments. Manufactured from GRP grating and GRP pultruded C-channel, the platform is designed for pedestrian use where access over pipework, cables or similar obstructions is required.

The platform measures 996mm x 996mm and has an overall height of approximately 238mm, providing a clearance underneath of 200mm. A GRP modular handrail, standing 1100mm high, is installed to both sides of the platform using 50mm diameter GRP tube, offering additional stability and user safety.

High-visibility contrasting anti-slip nosing is fitted to both sides of the platform to reduce slip risk and clearly define step edges. Fixings are supplied as a combination of stainless steel and zinc-plated components for durability and corrosion resistance.

Span Information

The span refers to the overall bridging dimension of the platform. Please note that the C-channel profile includes a 60mm x 8–9.5mm lip on both sides, which encroaches into the span area.

If the item being bridged is flat on the ground or up to the underside of the grating, this will reduce the effective span by 120mm. This should be allowed for when specifying the platform size.

Please allow 4–5 working days for mainland UK delivery.

For delivery purposes, the two handrail sections are supplied laid flat on the platform and will require attachment on site. All fixing holes are pre-drilled, and all fixings and installation instructions are supplied.
